‘I Will Change Shape to Honour Life’ – the ‘Way’ of the Phusion Love Warrior
And it is.
I go on, ‘and with the world suffering from a mental health crisis and the planet literally on its knees and begging for a break, I think the antithesis of what’s happening is exactly what we need.’
Remember, this was written in the years leading up to our world’s most recent collapse. And still, we continue to deny life the environment it needs to thrive and feel well.
One of the foundational principles of conditional expression is that each of us, through the quality of our expression and the demands we place on our world, will be either nourishing and supportive of life, or harmful and abusive.
It also holds that it is not us who decides the true nature and impact of our contribution, but life itself.
That is to say, ‘our truth’ is not ours.
And the law of conditional expression that relates most closely to this principle is the law of revelation.
We are what we are to life.
Not what we believe we are. And not what we portray to the world.
Another truth that underpins the conditional expression approach to life is the divine revelation from God that we are the cellular components of God’s physical body and form.
What this means is that our expressions and the true motivations behind them go a long way towards defining the quality of our function within God’s body.
And again, the quality of our function or contribution is neither defined nor decided by us.
The quality of our turning out – the substance of whatever it is we create through our individual being - is whatever it is to the physical body we belong to.
Just as a cancer cell within our own bodies might argue otherwise or convince itself it is something else, to us it will always be cancer.
And we want it gone.
This should give insight into the nature of God’s love.
If our expression is corrupt or of an inferior quality, God wants us in the world like we want a cancer cell within our own bodies.
He doesn’t.
And this is not personal. God – or life – like us, just wants to feel well.
We might use chemotherapy.
God uses other strategies, but if our actions and expressions are contradictory to God’s needs – which are the needs of life - then life must suffer.
Meaning God must suffer.
This is why Jesus lived the way he did.
The most important thing to him was God’s health. And in turn, the thing that mattered most was that he was not responsible for causing harm to life.
Rest assured if God had his way everyone would honour his instructions. After all, that’s the only scenario in our world that can keep him healthy.
Not only that, but if any figure is going to ‘reign’ over something, they set the rules.
For God to reign, which equates to God, or life, having sovereignty over their own body, we must submit to God’s will.
To be what life needs us to be. As opposed to what we want to be to life.
But God does not want this to feel forced. Nor does he want us to experience it as a submission.
He is confused as to why we don’t love life enough t- him enough - to provide what it – he -needs to thrive.
He wants us to feel light and liberated. And that we are offering life a most loving gift we can.
Our gentle tread.
Ironically, in a world that seems to love the notion of consent and despises anyone who violates another’s right to ‘reign’ over their bodies or is abusive towards another, the high-income world has completely disregarded God’s instructions and guidelines on how to treat and care for his body.
And we have messed it up royally.
Only, we are doing it from the inside out and causing all manner of trauma to the earth while we are at it.
But that is not the way of conditional expression – or as it is known by its nickname, Phusion Living.
If you look to the centre of the symbolic representation of conditional expression – ‘the Phusion Wheel’ – you will see a hexagon.
The hexagon is a shape which appears frequently in nature.
It is this shape that allows multiple ‘shapes’ – think cells or identities, or even human beings – to fit or come together.
So, in any natural system or environment, for multiple components belonging to that system to work together effectively for the benefit of that system, each component must be prepared to ‘change shape’.
To honour the needs of the system before their own wants or desires.
Otherwise, it does not work.
And the system we belong to – God’s physical, psychological and energetic system – is not working.
It is failing, and the suffering is great.
So, the hexagon at the centre of the wheel is representative of any human being who is willing to adjust their ‘shape’ – or, more accurately put conditions on their expression and demands – so who they are and what they become is nourishing to life and supportive of its needs.
Not as they want to be.
But as life needs them to be.
A person of great wealth who lives excessively, while also publishing ‘inspiring’ social media posts might believe they are serving life.
But they are not.
At least not in life’s opinion. Or, if you prefer, God’s.
They are serving themselves in order to be validate their life as successful and inspiring.
Life does not benefit from anybody’s excesses. Or our world’s excessive and self-serving social media posts.
But it/he can suffer because of them.
One of the driving questions behind one’s decision-making when living with conditional expression is not, ‘what do I want from life?’, but rather, ‘what does life need from me?’
The ultimate motivation for someone living with conditional expression is not themselves. It is an unconditional love for God.
Or life.
The same motivation that drove the life and teachings of Jesus.
Back to the symbol.
The lines radiating out from the hexagon – the ‘rays’ - represent the different aspects of human expression.
Our emotions, sense of creativity, physical bodies, intellect, spirituality and our connectedness with all life are represented here.
The circle that surrounds all the above serves as a reminder that everything we say and do, including the quality of our expressions and the demands we place on the earth, will all be experienced by life.
We are either punishing or supporting life.
And we don’t get to choose what that is.
As the saying goes, ‘It is what it is!’
And this is how life judges us.
If we need excess to feel complete in this world, we become a burden to life. Others must go without. And the earth must suffer.
That is the truth of excessive living in our world.
So, God does not judge us randomly.
We define ourselves. We present ourselves to life as we are. The judgment placed on us by God, perfectly reflects who and what we have been to life.
We might not see a starving child with a swollen belly as connected to our excessive living, but God does.
Which is to say life does.
For life to exist – be it individually or collectively – the must be a resource that life can draw on.
We all have access to one.
The earth.
The child with the swollen belly and the excessive person of great wealth and fame both rely on the same resource.
The excesses of the high-income world do not only permit hunger and lack. They create it.
And just imagine the strain on that resource.
We can claim to love humanity. And the earth. But both measure our love through our treatment of them. And not from our perspective, but from theirs, and what our treatment means for them - as a whole.
God does not permit, encourage or desire suffering in our world.
Because it is his world.
We create it.
In his physical form God is at our mercy because we are the cellular components – the building blocks – of his life.
Why do you think we were given such clear instructions on how to behave?
We just weren’t given the why.
But now that God has explained himself in the simplest of terms – ‘you are the cells of my body’ – we have our why.
‘Because if you do not follow these instructions, you will fuck me over!’
And my how we have screwed life over.
Do you know how unconditional love for anything is actually expressed and made real?
So that it no longer remains an abstract and indefinable concept?
It can only be done through conditional expression.
By putting conditions on our expression so that our behaviour and actions honour the object of our love as sacred.
Herein lies the whole premise behind conditional expression, or Phusion Living.
I love God and life unconditionally, so I, in all my fragile and flawed humanity, will do what they need. Not what I want.
That is the way of the Phusion Love Warrior.
‘I will dedicate all that I am, to being a nourishing component of life. I love God and life enough to alter my behaviour so that I honour all life as sacred.
I reject the freedom to have, be and do whatever I want, when I want, and exercise and embrace my freedom to be what life needs me to be.
It is my right to say no to the things which are abusive to life!’
Is this easy?
Of course not.
But that does not mean life avoids the impact of our failures. It must experience everything we do.
Importantly though, life and God make great space for our humanity. We do not have to be perfect.
But, deliberately harming life, and then pretending to be sorry does not cut it.
We cannot fool life.
Boastfulness is the best example of this.
I might get my body into amazing shape and then flaunt it because I want to inspire the world.
But the world does not need such inspiration.
The true motivation is to be seen and admired as inspiring.
We can try our best to twist this around, but we cannot alter the true substance of our expression.
And self-promotion is, quality wise, in the gutter.
When any expression is designed to promote or validate the expressor, on a cellular level, it is corrupt.
Don’t believe me?
Then believe Jesus.
‘If your right hand does something charitable, don’t even let the left know about it.’
It is also why he told people not to tell others of his healing.
He tried not to promote himself.
Because at that moment, what he was doing would be for his benefit. Our world loves to ‘inspire’ others so they can be better or more.
This has created a psychological bloodbath, where there is widespread dissatisfaction with the humanity of our individual lives.
And, for that matter, with the humanity of others.
Be sure there are many who have fulfilled two roles in our world. And they have done this to the benefit of great fame, wealth and profit.
The first role is to fracture our fragile psychology by creating the desire for better or more. And the second to provide healing experiences that help people deal with the damage.
Cashing in on the destruction. And then the repair.
It is our constant interfering in the lives of others that needs to be destroyed.
Jesus served life.
Not as he wanted to. But as God – or life – asked him to.
Jesus knew that God needs each of us to live in energetic peace – to be satisfied and content with whatever it is life throws at us. For that peace is his. Just as our wants, judgements and dissatisfactions are his.
‘Inspiring’ people disrupting our fragile psychology has been disastrous for our collective state of mind – at an individual level and when it comes to the mind of God himself.
Can you imagine the physical, energetic and psychological trauma we, in the high-income world, inflict upon life happening inside of you?
All because the components that make up your body prioritise their own individual wants and desires over your health?
You would be furious.
Jesus, in his human form, is one who can truly say, ‘I lived with conditional expression!’
For this is the life he taught and lived.
He is the world’s greatest Phusion Love Warrior.
What is conditional expression?
It is the way of life yoga and all God-centred religions were meant to guide us into.
It is the common thread that binds them all to God. It reflects his will and is captured perfectly by the instructions we have been handed down by him since the beginning of time.
But they did not take God seriously.
They did take business and economics seriously, though. And they took the power and authority that came with them seriously as well. And my, how they cashed in!
All while God’s sacred life and world collapsed.
That we live with conditional expression is the singular commonality in all of God’s direct communication with the world.
The story of Adam and Eve.
The teachings of Moses and the Ten Commandments.
The life and teachings of Jesus.
Yoga.
And the teachings of Mohammad.
Hinduism.
Every one of them, in terms of the heart that beats within them – God's heart - is the same.
‘Put conditions on your expression and demands so that who you are honours all life as sacred.
Say no to, and reject, the things which are harmful to life, for I am that life!
For it is my life you will harm should you reject me!’
Every direct and significant communication God has ever offered our world implied one thing.
Action.
On the knowledge God has handed down. An intellectual belief in God alone is both shallow and lacking in substance.
Life does not benefit from our beliefs.
God never wanted us to need to ‘know’ him.
How clever and smart we are, and how awestruck we can leave others with our wisdom and cleverness, means stuff-all to God and life.
Not one of us was meant to believe we are special enough to boast, or demand others be anything other than what they are.
But we assign ourselves a God-like status.
We get to say what we will and won’t accept when it comes to our own bodies. Which is what life is trying to do with conditional expression.
It’s telling us we have two choices. To do whatever we want. Or do what it needs. But either way, it must experience whatever it is we throw at it. Or benefit from the things we don’t.
Our world has never been more educated om how to live, nor has it had more people who portray themselves as inspiring – even if theft of intellectual property or assuming authority for concepts they did not produce in the first place provides the pathway – and yet how is it faring?
Is it well?
Is it benefitting from all the inspiration?
Does a mental health crisis reflect a deep and genuine love for all life and our humanity?
Or a deep attachment to our own lives being exactly as we want them to be.
Does the judgement of the flawed and imperfect reflect love and compassion for our humanity?
Or our disdain and disgust with it.
The same humanity we all use to account for our own mistakes is the same one we use to crucify other for theirs.
Our greatest gift, being used as a weapon of judgement.
To God, the contemporary high-income world is obscene.
And the icing on the cake is the millions who portray themselves as wise and inspiring while life – God’s life – is on its knees.
Conditional expression represents the genuine action of trying to live like Jesus.
Of ding one’s best to follow God’s instructions.
Why?
Because the highest motivation for such a person is for life to be well.
There is no ‘life of my dreams’.
Only a life of life’s dreams.
Or a life of God’s dreams.
God has told us in multiple ways what he wants.
And now he has stripped religions of that power and reduced love for him to a singular and solitary thing – action.
And, in terms of God’s physical and energetic form, action is all that exists.
A proclaimed love for God, to his body, does not exist.
Only proof of that love.
God can only benefit – in his physical and energetic form – by us following his instructions.
Which is why they were given in the first place.
And why Jesus lived like he did.
That is what makes Jesus the ‘word’ of God.
Any one of us can say – this is how you should live, and this is what the scriptures say, or God wants us to do this and that.
None of that means shit.
Jesus is the one who earned the right to say, ‘Do what I am doing!
And, ‘live how I am living.’
Even though he may have, he did not need to refer to scriptures or teachings or holy books.
He could refer to his actions.
And that is where God defines all of us.
That is how God measures our love for him.
Jesus did not say do what God says.
He said, ‘do what I am doing!’
Jesus, the greatest Phusion Love Warrior that has ever lived.
The greatest ambassador and teacher of conditional expression to ever walk the earth. The one who embodied and brought full honour to God’s sacred word and instruction – that we live with conditional expression.
What happens when our world does not live with conditional expression?
We are seeing it now.
Life suffers!
And so, it is.
